Great news for me!
Just got an email saying I was awarded Sitecore Most Valuable Professional Technology Award for the oncoming year.
I feel very excited and carry on plenty of brave plans for the 2020. My main efforts will be applied in two main areas: containers and JSS, at least as I see that now. Apart from will take all of my best to get selected as a speaker for a big audience conference and keep going developing Sifon, as it is quite promissing tool (unfortunately it is so tought with finding and allocation long timeslots for it).
In any case, I am pleased to stay as MVP and hope to meet you at the events later this year.
Just got an email with absolutely positive news. It stated:
Great news, Sitecore!
That is always a pleasure to realise that you are helpful to others, and your efforts were spent for good.
In my opinion, the two most interesting bonus of being an MVP are early preview of new Sitecore platform and its parts and taking part in annual MVP Summit, taking place along with Symposium, where you can actually talk to all these people who build the platform and get their internal vision, discuss features and roadmap, give feedback and report some bugs (if any). Ah, they also sent me this badge, so that I can append it to blog or some other projects:
Last, but not the least benefit, is to be a part of such an enthusiastic community, among the best and smartest, among these people (see the list of the winners grouped by countries):
This is my third MVP award in a row, however, will keep working hard, hopefully, get one more next year.
Proud to be among those very first to be able to deliver a Sitecore 9, Azure PaaS and Helix powered website into a production! To my greatest regret, I am not allowed disclose the client's name, that's why instead better share the spec.
Technologically, the solution contains many of things discovered previously in my blog and is the following:
- Sitecore 9.0 update 1
- Helix principles
- Glass mapper with T4 model interface code generation
- VSTS for everything - CI / CD tool, code repository, productivity tracking solution
- WebDeploy for deploying the assets to Azure PaaS
- Unicorn for serialization
- Three XP-Single, four XP-Scaled as well as DEV Environments
- Relies on PowerShell for automation and management
Today I was pleased to find out that I was awarded a title Sitecore MVP. It is a big honor for me, but also a great driving motivator to keep going Sitecore, even more than before. Let's rock!
